Since the inception of the its 90MW power plant project in Kayes, Albatros Energy Mali has always considered the respect of the environment as one of the pillars of its development strategy.

Albatros expects its employees, subcontractors and suppliers to upholding the highest environmental standards and pay a particular attention to the following guidelines:

• Always have a respectful attitude towards the environment with a special focus on prevention of any kind of pollution (air, ground, fauna and flora)
• Promote the best in class environmental practices in all our activities on site and in our daily work environment
• Respect the Malian environmental laws and adhere to the international environmental performance standards and principles
• Train and create awareness amongst our employees and partners to protect the environment
